Dog Food With Similar Nutritional Breakdown as Victor Hi-Pro-Plus Overview:

When the Victor Hi-Pro Plus recall happened, I knew I had to find a similar dog food for my dog. Most non- high protein dog foods that I’ve tried on my Black Lab Mix (No Allergies) have given her bad diarrhea or extremely soft poops. Sometimes, the non high protein dog food caused my dog to poop up to 6 times a day, since the food was mostly filler and carbs.

However, High Protein Dog Foods that have a specific ratio of protein, fat like Victor Hi Pro Plus are perfect for my dog. Since they are high calorie, I end up feeding her less per meal (which is economical). They also have to have a low amount of fiber, ideally under 4%. I found that this helps firm up her poop, making it easy to pick up, and limit the quantity of pooping per day.

Below are the results of my research to find the best Victor Hi Pro Plus Alternative dog food. I looked for dog food with similar nutritional content, since that was my main priority.
